This is a collection of portraits taken of the boys my Father grew up with. Now they are old men and their friendships have lasted a lifetime. They were from a village called Vuda (Kala Chorio) in Cyprus. In 1974 they were moved to another village and have grown old together. My Father returned to live in the village with them during the the latter part of his life and joked and teased them and they him as they always had. It was interesting being among them, and slowly over a few days photographing them. I hope to return and make another set of portraits of the surviving Vuda Girls.
